Important Announcement from the Municipality of Sidon to Small and Medium Enterprise Owners and Individuals.

The Nawaya Network, in coordination with the Municipality of Sidon, invites owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as individuals with promising business ideas, to register for the "Economic Recovery Program".

The program is funded by the European Union, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the French Development Agency (AFD). It is implemented by a consortium led by WeWorld, in partnership with Nawaya Network, FGPII, LRI, and IECD. Nawaya Network is responsible for implementing this component of the program. This announcement comes as part of the Municipality of Sidon’s ongoing efforts to support local development and economic empowerment in the city. The program, implemented by Nawaya Network, aims to strengthen economic and social stability and support the role of municipalities and local actors in serving communities by providing genuine opportunities for skills development and improved livelihoods. What does the program offer to selected participants? Training and coaching: Intensive training sessions to build skills and enhance business management capacities. Mentorship and follow-up: Business incubation and continuous support to establish and develop projects over the long term. In-kind financial support: Provision of equipment, tools, and other project-related assets for projects that advance to later stages of the program. Ongoing training and support: Continuous follow-up, additional training opportunities, and participation in exhibitions and other activities for eligible projects. Eligibility and Application Criteria :This call specifically targets individuals currently residing in the Sidon District who wish to launch a new business or develop an existing one, subject to the following conditions: You have a business idea, or you currently own a small or medium-sized enterprise. You are 18 years of age or older (the program welcomes both men and women of all nationalities). You are able and committed to attending face-to-face interviews and training sessions in the city of Sidon. Registration Procedure and Deadline, The Municipality of Sidon encourages all interested applicants who meet the eligibility criteria to seize this opportunity and apply by completing the online application form through the following link:https://forms.gle/LfYn8AzWdSBEyyxEA⁠� .Important note: If there are multiple partners in the business or project, only one representative should submit the application on behalf of the project. Application deadline: Sunday, July 5, 2026.
