On the occasion of May 1st, "International Workers' Day," the Saida Municipality, its president and members, extend their highest appreciation and congratulations to the workers of Lebanon in general, and the workers of Saida in particular, who showcase every day the most wonderful acts of dedication and giving. 

The Saida Municipality especially salutes its workers across all departments and fields; from the sanitation workers who brave the dawn to maintain the city's civilized appearance, to the emergency, maintenance, and gardening crews, and the municipal police. You are the backbone of life in Saida, whether in normal times or exceptional circumstances like the ones we are experiencing today, and through your tremendous efforts, we have been able to face successive crises and huge pressures.

At Saida Municipality, we fully understand the extent of suffering faced by Lebanese workers in general and Saida’s in particular, under harsh economic and social conditions, yet you have proven that you are "stronger" in your will, never abandoning your duty towards your city despite the hardships of life.

You are the hope that shines, the hand that builds, and through you, we preserve the civilized face of our city, Saida. Wishing all Lebanese and Saida workers a very happy Workers’ Day.
