Continuation of Aid Distribution to Saida Residents: Saida Municipality and Human Cooperation Association Distribute 1,300 Food Parcels at the Municipal Stadium.

As part of the comprehensive relief plan launched by Saida Municipality in coordination with the Disaster and Crisis Management Room in South Lebanon Governorate to support the resilience of the city's residents, the Rafik Hariri Sports City (Municipal Stadium) witnessed on Saturday the distribution of the second batch of aid allocated to the people of Saida by the Human Cooperation Association, under the supervision of the High Relief Commission and the South Lebanon Governorate's Disaster and Crisis Management Room. The distribution process was attended by Saida Mayor Eng. Mustafa Hijazi and municipal council members Mohmmad Dandashli, Majed Abdel Jawad, Ahmad Shuaib, Rami Beshasha, Youssef Touma, and Mustafa Al-Bazri, as well as Wafaa Shuaib, Director of the Municipality's Disaster Management Room. Also present were Brig. Bassam Al-Nabulsi, representative of the Secretary-General of the High Relief Commission, Brig. Ahmad Ibrahim, Mr. Shawqi Mteirek, Head of the Administrative Department at the South Lebanon Governorate, and logistics officer Mr. Hamto, President of the Gathering of Civil Institutions, and board member Adnan Al-Ballouli. This phase included the distribution of 1300 food parcels, representing the second batch of a total of 4000 packages. Field organization was supervised by municipal council member Eng. Mustafa Al-Bazri, with the participation of municipal volunteers, students from Lebanese University, the Lebanon Future Scouts, and the Islamic Medical Association. In his remarks, Dr. Fadi Shamieh thanked the High Relief Commission and Governor Mansour Daou for allocating 4000 food parcels to the host community in Saida. He also expressed appreciation to the municipality for its efforts, stating: "Similar distributions will continue next week until all the aid packages designated for the people of Saida have been delivered. The consequences of the war have affected everyone, and the city's residents, as the host community, have the right to benefit from this assistance, which we consider a duty toward them". Saida Municipality affirmed that  the distribution process is proceeding according to a plan prepared by the South Governorate, ensuring the highest standards of inclusiveness and transparency. Human Cooperation Association is expected to continue delivering assistance in the coming days and weeks across Saida.
