Sidon Municipality publishes diesel distribution schedules for the shelters, achieves a saving of 7,500 liters, and makes it available to the crisis cell in the governorate. Sidon Municipality – Media Office

As part of its strong commitment to transparency and responsibility in managing public resources and aid coming to the city, the Sidon Municipality's Generator Sector Committee is sharing the details of the distribution of the two batches of diesel, which were provided thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Social Affairs and in coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Water. The committee is also sharing the tables related to the distribution that took place since the start of the Israeli aggression. The Generator Sector Committee, led by its head and municipal council member Ahmad Shaib, oversaw the distribution process. They used precise and scientific criteria to determine the actual needs of the centers and generators, avoiding rough estimates. Through on-site monitoring and daily consumption follow-up, the committee was able to minimize waste and ensure that the centers and generators received exactly what they needed to operate . As a result of this attention to properly managing public funds, the distribution process recorded a savings of 7,500 liters of diesel. The committee immediately informed His Excellency the Governor of South Lebanon, Mr. Mansour Daou, of the details in an official letter. The entire saved amount (7,500 liters) was deposited at an approved station on behalf of the Crisis and Disaster Management Room in South Lebanon Governorate, to be used at the governorate's disposal for meeting emergency needs in the governorate and in the municipality of Sidon during these critical times to support community resilience. Any additional diesel distributions will be managed in the same way, with related reports published.  The municipality of Sidon emphasizes that while this saving is modest, it reflects the municipal council's vision of the importance of protecting every part of public resources. The municipality promises our people in Sidon to continue the approach of oversight and transparency in every file that the committee or the municipality implements, believing that transparency and integrity in managing public funds are the only key to successful municipal work.
