The Sidon Municipality is publishing the updated statistical report on displacement indicators in the official shelters within the city, issued by the Disaster and Crisis Risk Management Unit at the Sidon Municipality, through the Urban Observatory in collaboration with the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, covering the period from March 2 to May 8, 2026.The updated statistical data show a relative stability in the number of displaced people residing in the shelters, with the following figures:

• Number of displaced people: 11,125

• Number of shelters: 25, down from 27 in the previous report

• Excess capacity: 19.10%

Relief coverage and needs:• Food needs (one meal per day): coverage reached 100%, achieving full sufficiency compared to 95.00% last month.• Hygiene supplies: saw a significant improvement, reaching 83.15%, up from 54.56%.

• Baby milk and diapers: coverage increased to 88.63% compared to 79.04% previously.

• Basic supplies: coverage reached 80.49%, up from 74.40%.

Sidon Municipality confirms its ongoing commitment, through the Disaster and Crisis Risk Management Unit ,In working to fill the remaining gaps in basic needs, appreciating the pivotal role played by partner organizations and volunteers in maintaining a high level of response and logistical management of the crisis.
