Sidon Municipality launches a comprehensive campaign to sweep the streets and clean them from garbage Sidon Municipality

As part of its regular plan to beautify the city and maintain public cleanliness, the Saida Municipality has launched a wide field campaign covering all medians on main and side roads throughout the city. Teams from the municipality's emergency and gardening workshops started trimming trees and maintaining the medians to ensure clear visibility for drivers and enhance the overall aesthetic of main entrances. They also removed accumulated trash and cleaned green areas and medians from waste and solidgarbag.

The Saida Municipality emphasizes that the city's cleanliness and beauty can only be sustained with the cooperation of its residents. Therefore, the municipality urges citizens to throw waste in designated bins, avoid throwing it out of car windows or placing it on green medians, protect trees and plants as they are the city’s lungs and part of its urban scenery, and not park cars on medians to ensure public safety.

Finally, the municipality notes that these efforts come under challenging circumstances at all levels and calls on everyone to embrace a spirit of community responsibility to keep Saida clean and beautiful, in a way that befits its history and its people.
