Municipality of Sidon cuts off the “Rijal Al-Arbaeen” road temporarily due to an electricity pole tilt Sidon Municipality – Media Office After receiving complaints from citizens, Sidon Municipal Police, following up with municipal council member Wael Qassab, temporarily closed the road in the “Rijal Al-Arbaeen” area as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety. This comes after a tilt was observed in one of the electricity poles in the area, which could pose a danger to pedestrians and vehicles.The municipality explained that it contacted the Sidon and South Lebanon Electricity Authority, and coordination was made with the head of the authority, Engineer Samer Abdullah, who stated that specialized technical teams will begin necessary maintenance work and fix the pole tomorrow morning.The municipality urged citizens and passersby to exercise caution and use alternative routes until repair work is completed and the road is reopened normally.
