Sidon Municipality Removes Storm Damage at Rafik Hariri Sports City and Relocates Public Benches as a .Precautionary Measure

Sidon Municipality's emergency teams removed the damage caused by the recent storm and rough sea conditions, which had swept away several concrete benches designated for visitors along the western section of the sports promenade at the President Martyr Rafik Hariri Sports City. The incident resulted in the destruction of a number of benches and left parts of the walkway covered with sand, rocks, and debris carried inland by the waves. The teams also carried out a cleanup campaign to remove the waste and debris left behind by the high seas. They cleared the broken bench fragments and relocated the remaining benches as a precautionary measure due to the continuing storm and the expected high waves throughout the winter season.
