On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Sidon Municipality extends its greetings,
To the President and members, with the highest expressions of congratulations and best wishes to the people of the city and all Lebanese, asking Almighty God to make it a month of goodness, blessings, safety, and security.
With the fasting of the blessed month of Ramadan for Muslims coinciding with the Great Lent for Christians, the Sidon Municipality sees in this occasion an opportunity to reaffirm the principles of coexistence that have always distinguished the city of Sidon as a model of meeting and openness, to strengthen the values of tolerance, and to reinforce the bonds of national unity under difficult circumstances, so that fasting becomes a bridge of love and solidarity among all the people of the nation.
We hope that the blessings of these holy days will reflect on our beloved country Lebanon, that God grants us a nearby relief, and that Sidon remains, as we have always known it, a city that unites rather than divides.
