Saida Municipality and Jbeili Bros Inaugurate a Prototype Bus Stop on Saida's Seaside Road

In an initial exemplary step, the Municipality of Saida, in cooperation with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team at Jbeili Bros, has completed the installation of a public bus stop on Saida’s seaside road, at a location frequently used by university students and citizens.The implementation phases were monitored on-site by municipal council members, Eng. Baraa Al-Hariri and Mr. Ahmad Shoaib. Representing Jbeili Bros, the CSR team consisting of Ihab Zeidan, Mustafa Al-Sakka, and Ibrahim Al-Masri supervised the project.Mr. Ihab Zeidan stated that this project serves all segments of society, including students and employees, throughout the year. The station features a modern design that protects waiting passengers and people with special needs from rain, wind, and sunlight, while simultaneously adding an aesthetic touch to the street. He added that the execution followed the highest quality standards for the materials used.Eng. Baraa Al-Hariri, who participated in designing the general layout and execution blueprints, emphasized that this station serves as a pilot model. This experience is expected to be replicated across other strategic locations throughout Saida once an integrated public transport plan for the city is established, ensuring better traffic management and easier commuting for citizens. She pointed out that bus stops in cities are considered essential Urban Furniture, holding great significance as they are not just about aesthetics, but are vital for public comfort, street organization, and enhancing the pedestrian experience.On his part, Mr. Ahmad Shoaib thanked Jbeili Bros for their professional execution of the station. He stressed the importance of sustaining this type of cooperation between the public and private sectors in the future to serve the public interest, noting that Jbeili Bros has always been a pioneer in this field.
