Evening tour of the Old City by the Vice President and members of the Municipal Council
The Deputy Mayor of Sidon, Dr. Ahmad Akra, along with members of the municipal council, Wael Qasab, Rami Bashasha, Youssef Ta'meh, and Ahmad Shuaib, toured Old Sidon accompanied by the municipal police.
The purpose of the tour was to assess the general atmosphere in preparation for welcoming visitors to the city during Ramadan, and to observe the final touches being added to the city's squares and alleyways, including Ramadan lighting and decorations, in addition to general organizational matters.
This tour comes a day after the municipality illuminated its central decorations and the city's streets, and announced the launch of the "Sidon, Capital of Ramadan" events and the program of activities that will continue throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
