The head of the Future Movement, Saad Hariri, received a Sidon delegation at Beit al-Wasat, in the presence of the Future Movement MP Bahia Hariri. The delegation included Sidon's mayor, engineer Mustafa Hijazi, former mayors engineer Muhammad Al-Saudi and Dr. Hazem Badi, as well as the head of the Sidon and Suburbs Traders Association, Mr. Ali Al-Sharif. 

The meeting featured a comprehensive discussion on the conditions currently facing Sidon on various levels. The delegation briefed Hariri on the practical and service-related challenges confronting municipal work under the current circumstances, particularly regarding the continuity of basic services. They also reviewed the most urgent issues related to infrastructure and vital projects the city needs, in addition to the necessity of supporting productive and commercial sectors to help strengthen Sidon's economic and social resilience.

Hariri welcomed the delegation, praising the efforts of Sidon’s municipality, both the mayor and members, given the available resources. He affirmed his ongoing support for Sidon and its people and his backing of anything that would enhance stability and improve both developmental and service-related aspects in the city.
