Saida Municipality announces the conclusion of the initiative of "Mohammad Zaidan Association for Development in Saida" for sweeping Old Saida and praises the continuation of restoration and development projects.

Saida Municipality announces the conclusion of the project of cleaning and sweeping the streets, neighborhoods, and alleys of Old Saida, which was implemented with remarkable success over six continuous months with full funding from the "Mohammad Zaidan Association for Development in Saida", after the project completed its scheduled duration with complete success until the new contractor took over his field duties.

This vital project had launched under a memorandum of understanding signed in the municipality building between the Mayor of Saida, Engineer Mustafa Hijazi, and the president of the association, Mrs. Farah Zaidan. Over the past six months, the project formed a fundamental pillar in preserving public cleanliness and the civilized face of heritage landmarks, through diligent work teams that secured daily sweeping works.

In this context, Saida Municipality and the Mohammad Zaidan Association for Development in Saida emphasize the continuity of cooperation and coordination in basic sustainable projects, foremost of which are the ongoing initiatives and projects led by the association to restore buildings, neighborhoods, and heritage sandstone alleys in Old Saida, aiming to preserve its unique architectural and aesthetic character, and protect its historical human heritage.

On this occasion, Saida Municipality extends its sincere thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to the Mohammad Zaidan Association for Development in Saida, president, management, and field work teams, for all the tremendous and continuous efforts they provided to serve the old city and its people throughout the project period. The municipality praises the pioneering role of the association, which has never fallen short and spared no effort to support Saida, confirming that it is an essential and reliable partner in the journey of development and safeguarding the civilized identity, and the municipality always looks forward to consolidating this joint coordination in future initiatives and projects that serve the public interest of the city.
