An expanded meeting was held at the Sidon municipality with political forces and civil society organizations.

At the invitation of the Municipality of Sidon, a meeting was held at the municipality building with political forces and all civil society organizations in the city. The meeting was attended by Sidon MPs Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Bizri and Dr. Osama Saad, Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Group Dr. Bassam Hammoud, representative of Mrs. Bahia Hariri Mr. Mazen Hashisho, former Mayor of Sidon Hazem Badie, Deputy Mayor Dr. Ahmed Akra, and members of the city council.
Mayor of Sidon, Engineer Mustafa Hijazi, presented figures on the shelter and relief operations carried out by the municipality's Crisis and Disaster Management Committee, highlighting the difficulties faced by the municipality and the organizations managing the shelters. Representatives of the organizations recorded their suggestions and conveyed their observations on the ground. The meeting concluded with the formation of a follow-up committee comprised of representatives from several organizations to liaise with the central operations room at the Municipality of Sidon.
