The activities of the Sidon Eid Festival 2026 concluded this evening. The festival was organized by Waqf Al-Furqan in cooperation with the Municipality of Sidon, in a distinguished festive atmosphere that witnessed a large public turnout from the residents of Sidon and its surrounding areas.

???? The closing ceremony was attended by an honored official and scholarly presence. Among the first attendees was the representative of the Grand Mufti of Sidon and its district, Sheikh Salim Sousan, Dr. Mahmoud Ahmad Smayhun, as well as the representative of the Mayor of Sidon, Mr. Rami Bshasha, accompanied by a number of members of the Municipal Council, in addition to a distinguished presence of the city’s sheikhs, scholars, and social, educational, and cultural figures.

✨ The closing event included special religious chanting performances presented by the Sabaa Islamic Nasheed Group, which added a spiritual and entertaining atmosphere that was greatly appreciated by the audience. The ceremony concluded with a blessed speech by Sheikh Abdelkarim Hani Allouh, head of the endowment’s founding council and its trustee, along with major prize draws that included two Umrah trips and several valuable prizes, adding further joy and excitement for participants.

???? Over the course of the festival days, the event served as a unifying space for families and loved ones, contributing to spreading a joyful Eid atmosphere and bringing happiness to both children and adults, amid excellent organization and wide engagement from visitors.
