Update on displacement figures and relief indicators in shelters in Sidon Sidon Municipality - Media Office
The Disaster and Crisis Risk Management Room in Sidon Municipality announced updated data indicators regarding the influx of displaced persons at designated centers within the city for the period from March 2 to 10, 2026. The current indicators are as follows:
Number of centers: 24 shelters.
Number of displaced persons: 12,148.
Overflow capacity: The centers recorded a surplus of 25.91%.
Regarding the coverage of basic needs at the centers, the rates were as follows:
Coverage of shelter supplies: 57.16%
Coverage of milk and diapers: 49.45%
Coverage of hygiene supplies: 19.81%.
The Operations Room confirms that it is continuing to work on completing the survey of remaining needs and will issue updated indicators related to the food, medicine, and other sectors as soon as the final data is ready.
