Saida Municipality Participates in the Commemoration Ceremony of the Four Martyred Judges

Saida Municipality participated in the ceremony marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of the four judges, held at the courtyard of the Palace of Justice in the city of Saida, in tribute to their memory and in affirmation of the dignity and sanctity of the judiciary.

The municipality was represented by a delegation comprising Acting Mayor Dr. Ahmad Akra, Municipal Council Members Mr. Hassan Zaatari and Mr. Ahmad Choueib.

Among those attending the ceremony were First President Judge Ghassan Moati, First Investigative Judge in Beirut Rola Othman, Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority Judge Ayman Oueidat, Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj, South Lebanon Public Prosecutor Judge Zaher Hammadeh, Ms. Maya Majzoub representing the President of the Bar Association, and Brigadier General Ahmad Abou Daher, Commander of the South Lebanon Regional Unit of the Internal Security Forces, in addition to a large gathering of judges, lawyers, security officials, and family members of the martyred judges.

During the ceremony, the Saida Municipality delegation, headed by Dr. Ahmad Akra, laid a wreath on behalf of the Mayor and Municipal Council members at the memorial dedicated to the martyred judges at the Palace of Justice. This was followed by a minute of silence observed by all attendees in honor of their pure souls.

On this solemn occasion, Saida Municipality reaffirmed that the blood of the four judges who fell in the service of justice in Saida will remain a symbol of sacrifice for the establishment of truth and the rule of law. The municipality also emphasized the city's unwavering support for the judicial authority in carrying out its noble mission of protecting the nation and its citizens.
