Hijazi, Badih, and Al-Zein Inspect Nabih Berri Boulevard in Haret Saida: A Treacherous Attack Targeting Innocent Civilians
Sidon Municipality – Media OfficeThe President of the Sidon-Zahrani Municipalities Union and Mayor of Sidon, Engineer Mustafa Hijazi, former Mayor of Sidon Dr. Hazem Badih, and municipal council members Mohammad Al-Shamas, Youssef Touma, Hisham Hsheisho, Wael Qassab, and Ahmad Choueib conducted a field inspection visit to the site of the brutal Israeli attack that targeted a residential apartment on President Nabih Berri Boulevard in Haret Saida. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of three members of the Al-Taryaqi family.Engineer Hijazi was accompanied by the Mayor of Haret Saida, Mr. Mustafa Al-Zein, and Vice Mayor Hajj Ahmad Saleh. The delegation inspected the extent of the destruction caused by the attack to the targeted building.Speaking from the site of the attack, Engineer Hijazi stated: “Today, we stand before an aggression that makes no distinction between civilian and military targets and seeks to break our determination and resilience.”He added: “Our presence today alongside our colleagues in Haret Saida Municipality confirms that we are one body and share the same suffering. The continued targeting of residential areas and innocent civilians is evidence of the enemy’s moral bankruptcy and brutality. We affirm that Sidon and Haret Saida will remain united in confronting this criminal aggression.”
