Sidon Municipality congratulates on the occasion of the Islamic New Year 1448 AH.

The Municipality of Sidon, represented by its Mayor and members, extends its highest congratulations and blessings to the people of Sidon and the South in particular, and to the Lebanese people in general, on the occasion of the arrival of the new Islamic Hijri year 1448.

\As we draw inspiration from the noble memory of the Prophet’s migration (Hijra), with its meanings of patience, sacrifice, steadfastness, and relief after hardship, we ask Almighty God to make this year a year of goodness and blessings, and to grant our beloved homeland, Lebanon, near relief and prosperity.

May this blessed occasion bring security, safety, and stability to all parts of our homeland and to all our people, as well as the swift and safe return of all displaced persons to their homes, villages, and towns with dignity and in peace. May it also bring a great victory over the occupying Israeli enemy and the end of its aggression against our land and our people.
