Sidon Municipality concludes the "Nouran" festival at Khan el-Franj:
On the occasion of the Prophet's birthday

The Municipality of Sidon concluded the "Nouran" festival yesterday evening, which lasted for three days at Khan al-Faranj in celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, under the patronage of the Islamic Fatwa House in Sidon and in cooperation with the Hariri Foundation, as part of the tourism activities launched by the municipality.
The closing ceremony was attended by the President of the Saida-Zahrani Municipal Union and the Mayor of Saida, Engineer Mustafa Hijazi, along with a gathering of religious figures and a large audience of families. The evening's activities and the reception of the attendees were attended by the head of the Activities and Tourism Committee in the Sidon Municipality, Engineer Rami Bashasha, and members of the municipal council: Majed Abdul Jawad, Angie Al-Atrouni, Ahmad Shaib, Youssef Toma, and Wael Qasab, as well as the president's advisor, Wafa Shaib, in addition to the members of the Activities Committee: Abdul Karim Al-Maawi, Ghina Wahbi, and Baria Bouji.
The ceremony was opened with a welcoming speech by Eng. With a welcoming spirit, the event included a prayer coinciding with the lunar eclipse and a special prayer for the people of Gaza with the intention of relief, due to the ongoing genocide against them for nearly two years.
Then, the Madih singers' group presented religious hymns and supplications inspired by the occasion for the Mazra'a brothers for about an hour and a half, which were well-received and interacted with by the audience.

Hajazi said on the occasion of the festival's conclusion: Today, we conclude in Sidon Municipality the "Nouran" festival in commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, which lasted for three consecutive days. It was successful in its content and distinguished attendance, and included a series of accompanying activities, religious chants, and invocations from well-known groups in this field. The festival was successful and harmonious between the municipality, the supporters, the sponsors, and the supervising municipal committees. Thanks to everyone who contributed to its success, and we promise you new festivals coming, God willing.
The final nite included interactive games with children inspired by the occasion, presented by Mrs. Ghina Wahbi, where valuable prizes were distributed to them, in addition to the release of balloons that lit up the sky of Sidon.
